Rosh Hashanah 2022 is September 26-27. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year is a wonderful time to receive a Judaica gift! But when The Sages, of blessed memory, gave the New Year day the name Head of the Year instead of just New Year, they were teaching us something spiritually significant about that day, The First of Tishrei. Just as every part of the human body is controlled, sustained and motivated by the head and receives all its information from the head as well, so in a sense does Rosh Hashana spiritually control and fill the rest of the year with sustenance, motivation and information.
