In the Holy Torah, seven species of food plants indigenous
to the Land of Israel are mentioned: olives, grapes, pomagranates, dates,
figs, wheat and barley. On this beautiful Seder Plate
the seven species are all rendered with brilliant color. The six small dishes
are handpainted as well and each has written on it which symbolic Passover
food it is for.
