The Choshen was actually more like a pouch, about 22 cm square, made of
beautifully woven material on the face of which were attached with gold thread,
12 precious gems in four rows of three. It was used by the High Priest as
an oracle to prophetically answer questions about the past, present and future.
As such, it was like a spiritual electric wall socket that could be used
to draw Power from Above.
