On this Challah cover the Jerusalem Gate has been portrayed in
silver thread. Hand-embroidered in chain stitch upon a background of raw cotton,
the word ‘Shabbat’ has been embroidered in Hebrew at the centre of the design.
Design by the Israeli artist Yair Emanuel [height x width 40 x 51 cm / 16 x 20
