Using a Persian-inspired design, this raw cotton Challah Cover
has been hand-embroidered in chain stitch using classic silver thread. The design
chosen illustrates geese, flowers, foliage in addition to more abstract designs
with the traditional centerpiece of ‘Shabbat and Yom Tov’ written in Hebrew. Design
by the Israeli artist Yair Emanuel [height x width 40 x 51 cm / 16 x 20 inches]
